The Mont Supersonic Overpants for Men are totally waterproof, totally windproof, and provide freedom of movement with complete weather protection.
An active and athletic fit with reinforced articulated knees, stretch waist band, and clever pockets combine for a streamlined overpant providing comfortable climbing, un-inhibited traversing and streamlined descents. Totally waterproof, 100% windproof and highly breathable Hydronaute PRO fabric protects you from the elements. A 3-layer fabric appropriate for snowsports, mountaineering and walking in harsh country.
Inside you will notice micro-tape factory sealed seams that are 100% waterproof while being significantly less bulky than standard seam tape. This new 14mm seam tape tests successfully at 3psi for 3minutes just as the previously used 22mm seam tape: waterproof seams with reduced weight and bulk.
When nature calls, the cleverly designed braces can remain in place over your shoulders while the side zips allow the seat to drop.
You will find a double layer of Hydronaute Pro fabric in the articulated knees with vertical darts (seams) that allow the pants to remain streamlined with minimal bulk. On the inner ankles are integrated patches of 500 denier Cordura Nylon to withstand boot, crampon or gaiter abrasion.
The Supersonic Overpants are fitted with water resistant YKK AquaGuard Zips throughout, including the full length leg zips, dual pocket zips & fly.
